It's time to celebrate the ones who swore they weren't getting attached. The professional ball throwers. The leash untangling specialists. The Kong stuffing engineers. The couch space sacrificers. The late-night potty escorts. The ones whose dogs somehow know exactly when they're coming home.

Hi, I'm Jennifer. I’ve always believed dogs deserve to be remembered for who they truly are...not how well they sit on command.

The head tilts. The muddy paws. The way they follow you from room to room like it’s their full-time job.

I do this because dogs don’t stay long enough. Because someday you realize those small, ordinary moments were shaping your life all along. Preserving those stories matters to me. Not just as photographs, but as artwork you live with, every single day.

And if your dog has opinions, zero personal boundaries, or selective hearing? You’re in exactly the right place. Imperfect, art-worthy behavior is encouraged.

They help us survive grief. They become the reason we keep moving forward. They teach us how to love deeper. They steady us during seasons no one else fully sees.

I’m looking for dogs whose presence changed someone’s life forever. Not because they’re perfect. But because they mattered.

This limited art gallery experience is presented in collaboration with Salty Paws Milwaukee, with a portion of session fees helping support the incredible work of Pets Helping People Inc and their therapy animal teams throughout our community.

This limited series was created in collaboration with Salty Paws Milwaukee for dog parents who want to celebrate the connection they share with their dog through meaningful artwork.

And truly — all dogs are welcome here. Shy dogs. Senior dogs. Rescue dogs. Reactive dogs. Dogs who only cooperate for snacks. 😂

Sessions will take place throughout the summer around the Greater Milwaukee area, leading up to Milwaukee’s Fall Gallery Night weekend this October at Salty Paws MKE.
