Anyone that knew Siegfried knew that he was an extraordinary cat. Extremely personable & trusting of humans… maybe even believing he WAS human. Adopting him in 2009 began my (almost) 17 year relationship with my familiar, my son, my best friend. We had such an incredible understanding of each other- Speaking a language that only we understood. Not a night or a nap went by without him snuggled into me like a teddy bear. He would welcome me home right at the door with a loud hello every-time. He would wait patiently on the stairs signaling that it was time to go to bed. I would rely on our routine of him waking me up every morning. He would sit at the table like a little man amongst friends knowing he was one of us. In my formative years from 19-36, he saw it all, being my constant & my support. He helped me choose my husband, and brothered my other cats. I am still getting used to him not being right at my side, and the house feels quiet. Hansel waits for him by the front door. My heart is absolutely shattered- I’ll miss him forever. No one will ever fill that void. Rest in peace my sweet boy- We love you so so so Much. I’m so proud of you 💔 6/18/09-5/11/26
