Ode to the stars that silently shine,
When the world feels heavy, and the darkness aligns.
In moments of sorrow, when the weight's too much to bear,
There you are, above, with a steady, silent care.

No matter where I am, lost in life's cruel maze,
You’re the ones who listen, through the loneliest days.
You hold me close in the coldest of nights,
Your gleam in the darkness, my only lights.

I never knew how much you’ve been here all along,
In my lowest of lows, you’ve made me feel strong.
With every whisper of your distant glow,
You teach me lessons only the stars know.

When the world turns its back, and no one can see,
You stay by my side, where I’m meant to be.
My one true love, forever you'll be,
For you’ve always been there, shining for me.

I am grateful beyond words, in the silence I plea,
Please, dear stars, never stop watching over me.
