Photography is my life. The concept of being able to freeze time and preserve it for a lifetime to tell a story is what life and memories are all about. We are known for the story we share, the story that we are told, or the story that we create. Every moment that I have a chance to be behind the lens, look through that viewfinder, and press that shutter, I’m telling a story. That is what I enjoy
the most, the ability to help bring out the best in people: their beauty and their stories. It all begins by listening to what the subject in question is on the quest for. Toussaint graduated from Messiah College in 2008 with a concentration in Public Relations and French. From 2006 to 2007, Toussaint spent a year studying Political Science at Institute of Political Sciences in Strasbourg, France, Literature at University De Marc Bloch, and photography at Palais Universitaire. Toussaint is an award-winning photographer who has worked with celebrities such as Bravo TV personality and designer Gretchen Rossi, author & chair of the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Paul Farmer, Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell, Miss PA of 1994 & Consultant at American Votes, Dr. Kirstin Snow, CNN Chief National Correspondent, John King, Senator Pat Toomey, and Founder of Charles L. Blockson Afro-American Collection, Dr. Charles L. Toussaint also enjoys filmmaking. His first feature length documentary is currently in post-production and expected to premiere Fall 2014.
