All of you despondent people out there... remember, the heat doesn't help.

I'm not blaming climate change for how divided and angry at each other we are. For that I mostly blame the ignorance of people to understand what it's like to be in someone else's shoes. And our empathy right now is fried.

And it you don't believe in man made climate change well then F**K YOU! No just kidding, just kidding (but seriously look up the science)

How did climate change get to be a polarizing issue?
And the answer is: MONEY & POWER.
Remember those cigarette ads "4 out of 5 doctors recommend Lucky Strike!"
When we look back at our time our choice of resource use and decisions we make will look as absurd.

Cosmotropolis is a concept exhibition and the 3rd in a trilogy of shows musing on past, present, & future. The name is a mix of the Fritz Lang’s 1927 seminal sci-fi flick and the superficial magazine Cosmopolitan.

In 1958, Music Director Eugene Ormandy led The Philadelphia Orchestra in its very first performance of Handel’s Messiah with soprano Leontyne Price. Since then, the Orchestra has performed the iconic piece almost every year during the holiday season. Experience the tradition this week with two performances on Thursday 12/15 and Friday 12/16.
