Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) AEM-7's and ALP-44 are still be ticking and ticking. However, as new Siemens ACS - 64's continue to come into service, the remaining AEM-7's and the only ALP-44 in the world will soon be just a memory.

Shown is AEM-7 No. 2307 arriving into the Villanova station on a stormy August afternoon, ALP-44 No. 2308 slowly passing the Prospect Park station on a rather different weather climate, sunny and humid, and ACS-64 No. 901 leading the Great Valley Flyer on an overcast afternoon.

"The Return of the CAT's":

NJ TRANSIT Montclair-Boonton Line #534 arrives into Glen Ridge station with F40PH-2CAT 4119 leading.

This unit is one of three F40's left on NJ Transit property as most have been sold to other railroads. Two of the three has been demoted to work service with the remaining one sitting in storage out of service. However due to the ongoing car shortage, NJ Transit has since been operating locomotives on each end and some of the already deemed retired locomotives have returned to service acting as a cab car. 4119 has not seen revenue passenger service since 2013 so this sure was a nice treat.

Union Pacific Railroad Office Car Special, symboled NS 066, crossing the trestle at Moodna Viaduct on the MTA Metro-North Railroad Port Jervis Line headed to Campbell Hall w/ the recently repainted SD70AH No. 1943 in the "Spirit of the Union Pacific" scheme leading the way. This special run was made for the Harriman Dinner Special between Harriman and Campbell Hall.

Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA)'s brand new Siemens ACS - 64 No. 901 testing on Amtrak's Northeast Corridor through Levittown, Pennsylvania returning to Philadelphia after doing a test run up the Trenton Line. These locomotives are expected to replace all of SEPTA's EMD AEM7s and lone ABB ALP-44 in the near future

MARC's new toy!

Maryland Area Rail Commuter (MARC) Siemens Charger SC-44 No. 80 makes it's way down on Amtrak Northeast Corridor through Prospect Park station heading back to Washington, DC. This was the return trip after the SC-44 made it's way up to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for testing on MARC Lines

Bringing out the Turbos! A special move made its way on Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor from Bear, Delaware to Adams Yard in North Brunswick, New Jersey with a brief stop at Amtrak Wilmington Maintenance Facility in Wilmington, Delaware which brought out the old Turboliners which has been stored for more than a decade. The purpose of this move is for police training in Adams Yard. These trains once operated on the Empire Corridor until 2003 where a some were stored while the rest were scrapped. In this video, you will see the special move at Croydon, Pennsylvania and Hamilton, New Jersey as it makes it’s way up the Corridor

CSX W857 making it's way up the Conrail Port Reading Secondary transporting Military Vehicles up to Fort Drum, New York at the Helen Street crossing in South Plainfield, New Jersey.

Due to the derailment of another CSX freight train near Union, New Jersey on the Conrail Lehigh Line, all trains were rerouted over the Port Reading Secondary to get around the derailment scene.
