Photographing another photographer’s family will never stop feeling like such an honor.

The weather had us all questioning whether this session was actually going to happen. Between the storms and constantly changing forecast, we almost rescheduled more than once. 😂

Thankfully, we went for it anyway, and it ended up being such a beautiful night! Can’t wait to dive into the rest of these! 😍

Nobody really knows what they want until they see it.

You think you want the “perfect” photo with coordinated outfits, everyone looking the same direction, and forced smiles. But what you actually want is the way your kid threw their head back laughing at something ridiculous, or the tiny doodles they drew all over their shoes that morning.

That’s exactly the stuff I live for, and it’s at the heart of every family session I document. I want to help you remember this chapter exactly as it felt. 💛

I seriously cannot wait for all the beach sessions I have lined up this summer! It’s always so much fun catching up with families I’ve photographed before and getting to meet so many new ones too.

June and July are already full, which honestly blows my mind! I do still have a few August dates open, though, and I’m looking forward to soaking up every bit of summer before it’s gone. 🌊💕
