A little behind-the-scenes of what my editing queue is looking like lately. 🤍 I’ve got several galleries lined up, and while I know everyone is excited to get their photos back, I also want to give each gallery the time it deserves.

I always give you an expected turnaround time when you book, and I stick to it! Even when the queue gets a little crazy, I’m working through everything in order and making sure nothing gets rushed.

This season is BUSY busy, and I’m so freaking grateful for it. 🥹

Now back to editing I go. ☕️💻

Somehow we’ve reached the end of August, which feels slightly rude considering I swear summer just started. 😂

Six years ago at this time, I officially started doing this professionally. SIX. And when I really stop and think about everything that has happened since then, it’s kind of wild. So many families photographed, so many seasons of life, so much learning, changing, growing, and figuring things out as I went.

I don’t know what the rest of this year has waiting for me, but I’m trying to slow down enough to actually enjoy it instead of constantly wondering where the time went. Hoping the next few months bring you some really good things too. And if they don’t all go according to plan, I hope there’s still something beautiful waiting for you on the other side. 🤍

We can spend so much time learning the “right” way to photograph or how we are supposed to run our sessions that we forget to pay attention to what we actually love.

Look at the images you keep coming back to. The ones that make you feel something.
