Tens of thousands of people reclaimed the Benjamin Franklin Bridge today, experiencing the 1,750-foot span in their own unique way. Pedestrians, buskers, photographers, brave cyclists, and a vibrant mix of local characters came together to celebrate the bridge’s 100th anniversary. For a few hours, the multi-lane commuter corridor normally swallowed by endless rows of vehicular traffic between Camden, NJ, and Philadelphia, PA, transformed into a massive, living public plaza.
