Nora & Jacob 🤍 this is one day that sticks out in my mind as the true definition of community. it never ceases to amaze me that the love and union of two people who just happened to walk into each others’ lives has the ability to bring people together from all corners of the earth.

All of these photos were documented on 35mm film using a 45 year old camera with a manual focus. While this could be seen as something that slows down the process, it makes for documentary images filled with intentionality - just like Nora & Jacob’s wedding day 🎞️

G is a rare talent who sings all of their shows live, is an incredible drummer, AND just recently (4 months ago) picked up the saxophone! Not to mention being one half of an absolute power couple in the q***r community. Thank you for being you and everything you do for the LGBTQIA+ community G!

there’s no almost-so close-maybe’s about it - her live performance sounds almost exactly how she sounds on an album. a rare talent - excited to see her continue to grow!

so, I get stuck a lot and often times feel like ‘well why would someone care to see this? especially with everything going on in the world and with the abundance of talent in this industry.

someone recently expressed a similar feeling of overwhelm and said we should make sure to share our work because the right people will come.

so here I am, sharing my work - this was a sweet lil studio maternity session with a couple whose wedding I documented just barely a year prior! enjoy ✨🌿
