Dante Fratto Photography Photographer based in Williamstown, NJ—just outside Philly—specializing in cityscapes, landscapes, and outdoor scenes.

I capture fleeting moments in urban and natural settings, always chasing light, stories, and the beauty that won’t return. I am a photographer based out of Mantua, New Jersey just outside of Philadelphia. I specialize in all types of photography including cityscapes, landscapes, outdoors or anything else that captures my eye. I also photograph real estate and unique events. My goal is to capture a moment in time that will never return. I am always looking for a new photography adventure.

Sunday funday under the city lights of Philadelphia...

From the glow along the Schuylkill River Trail to skyline views near South Street Bridge, the city hits different after dark.

Cool air, quiet streets, and that perfect city glow.

As the snow started to come down, the conditions were nearly a whiteout. Tomorrow’s officially a snow day. The camera gear is packed and ready, just hoping the storm gives me something special to chase.

The Cape May–Lewes Ferry is making its way back through the frozen Delaware Bay. Not something you see very often, sheets of ice stretching across the bay as the ferry pushes through on its return trip. The cold has been relentless, and the Delaware Bay looks more like the Arctic than the Mid-Atlantic.

I don’t know many people who are looking forward to the snow this weekend—but skiers, snowboarders, and landscape photographers are ready. My gear is packed, and I’m ready to chase some snowy scenes.

I was going through some old photos and came across this one from 2012, taken during Open Air by Rafael Lozano-Hemmer along Philadelphia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The installation utilized 24 robotic searchlights that responded to recorded public voices via a mobile app, transforming sound into shifting beams of light. Each pattern existed for only a moment—art, technology, and public participation written briefly across the night sky.

It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve photographed this tree. It always puts a smile on my face, just knowing it’s still standing. I know that one day it will be gone—and that will be that.
