Glen Foerd, I fell in love with you at first sight… Then dreams came true on 5.25.25. 💕

Shortly after Covid, we were longing to get our creativity back into the world, so my dear friend .limbo and I planned an editorial at Glen Foerd. We put together the most amazing team, featuring as well as two Philadelphia Ballet principal dancers as our models. It was a moment I’ll never forget. When I left that day, I told my friend, “I think I’m going to get married here?”

I’ve since captured so many incredible weddings there, and each time I stepped into that estate, my heart fluttered… it was always special to me. Then, falling in love with and seeing them care for their couples made it feel even more like home.

When Ken and I started looking at where we’d say our vows, we couldn’t help but love the idea of promising ourselves to one another with the water behind us. After falling for one another on Memorial Day at the shore, it felt so true to us.

I look at these photos by and our video from along with and think, “Don’t be sad it’s over, smile because it happened.” The memories held in these photos and videos allow me to step back into that moment. We couldn’t have been more blessed to have so many incredible creatives by our side, but also people who truly made our day even more special simply by who they are.

But the most important part of the day was being able to soak in the love that surrounded us, the peace of a space that felt like home and a fairytale all at the same time, and embracing every moment with my best friend. 💕

This is what I mean when I say have your details ready….

The first thing I do every wedding morning is photograph your details. Before the dress goes on, before the first look it’s just me, your pieces, and the light. Here’s how I break it down across three setups:

1. Bridal details jewelry, perfume, the small things that are entirely you. For Clara, that meant Gabrielle Chanel, her earrings nestled in their antique box, and a collection of vintage French letters that made this flatlay feel like it belonged in a Parisian estate.

2. Shoes styled on their own, then layered with select pieces from setup one. Those Prada slingbacks deserved their own moment.

3. The invitation suite — where the full story comes together. designed the most beautiful dusty blue and gold calligraphy suite, and yes the rings are always included here.

Speaking of which: request styling blooms from your florist specifically for the flatlay. Petite florals that lay flat make all the difference. Just make sure they’re delivered upon my arrival otherwise they won’t make it in.🌸

“New York is not a city — it’s a feeling. Especially when you’re in love.” 🗽💕

We started at Bow Bridge as the light was still soft and hazy through the trees, made our way toward the Boathouse, and ended underneath the most stunning painted ceiling at Bethesda Arcade. Central Park has this way of feeling completely removed from the city that surrounds it … like the whole world quieted down just for them.

That gown. That cathedral veil spilling across the Swan House lawn like it was always meant to live there. every detail deliberate, every frame a painting.

They met at a UDel card game. Now they’re back in Delaware … this time at a 300-acre French estate. ✨

Kaitlin and Mike met at the University of Delaware (club ultimate frisbee, a card game, a first kiss) and have been moving through life together ever since. 😍

For their engagement session, we spent time at Nemours Estate the gilded gates, the marble cherub bench, the grand colonnade, formal gardens stretching out behind them. Overcast skies keeping everything soft and cool. These two just laughed and moved and were completely themselves the whole time.

Mike said Kaitlin’s laugh lights up every room. I witnessed it. Repeatedly.💕

Powder blue floral linens, an emerald cut stacked with a diamond band, garden roses climbing ivy-covered stone walls, and a pair of Something Blue heels wrapped in ribbon. Absolutely perfect 💙

Soft blues, lemons on every table, portraits overlooking the water and inside Glen Foerd... Erin + Thom’s wedding day was a dream. 😍

The palette Erin chose soft blue, white, and that whisper of yellow from the lemons carried through every single element. The tablescapes, the florals, the stationery, the es**rt wall. It all told the same story before a word was even spoken. ✨

Their portraits inside Glen Foerd’s historic art gallery are some of my favorite images I’ve ever made. There is something about that art gallery with the painted ceiling and the oil portraits lining the walls it just doesn’t feel real. 🦋

And then an unforgettable party with a saxophonist The black and white dance floor. The espresso martinis they toasted with at the end of the night! It was the perfect day! Beginning with soft romance and ending in a full celebration! 🥂
