Taking a short pause on new bookings 🤍
Due to ongoing shoulder pain that’s progressed to a shoulder injury from overuse, heavy camera gear, and long hours of shooting and editing, I am going to be pausing new bookings for the time being. It’s tricky to *actually* put this out there because I genuinely love photography and having the joy of photographing dozens of families each and every week, but by publicly sharing, I’m hoping I can hold myself accountable to make sure I’m actually taking a short break.
If you are already booked, your session is still on my calendar and I’m still so excited! If you have already reached out or inquired, I will still be following up with you shortly to honor a request for a session. This rainy weekend allowed me to reset a bit, but I’m also working with rescheduling those sessions that had to be moved.
I will also be keeping the available mini session spots that have already been planned and slotted for. Since those dates are already scheduled and structured, they will remain available at this time.
I also want to apologize if I’ve been delayed with inquiries, messages, or emails lately. Between graduation, burnout, and figuring out the uncertainty with my shoulder, I have been moving a little slower than usual and appreciate everyone’s patience so much! All galleries are being delivered within 7-14 days after your session.
I’ll also continue to share the work and people I’ve had the joy of photographing on my page. Even while I’m taking a step back from new bookings, I’m so grateful for the sessions I’ve been able to capture and the clients who continue to support me.
Thanks for tuning in! This isn’t an easy decision to commit to, but I’m hoping to get a chance to schedule PT, heal, and reevaluate some of my gear/set ups to ensure I can do my best moving forward.
