One of my favorite things about photography is getting invited into some of the most important chapters of people’s lives.

A few years from now, I don’t think we’ll remember what the dogwoods looked like that evening or what the weather was doing.

We’ll remember this season. The excitement, the uncertainty, the anticipation of what’s next.

Photography gives us a way to hold onto those moments just a little longer.

It was such a joy getting to celebrate and document this chapter for Chloe. 🤍🌿

There’s something so special about getting to document milestones for the people you love most. Photographing my baby sister’s graduation session at Appalachian State University - the place that shaped so many of my own memories - made this one especially emotional🖤💛

From curling her hair in her dorm room to running all over campus chasing the sunset, the entire evening felt like a little time capsule I know I’ll treasure forever.

Watching your younger sibling grow up is such a strange, beautiful thing. One minute they’re making you watch Mulan (and nothing but Mulan) on repeat, and the next they’re stepping into adulthood and creating a life of their own.

I’m endlessly proud of my sweet Haley Bug, the work it took to get here, and all the things waiting for her in this next chapter. Full-circle moments like this will always be my favorite ones to capture. 🎓
