The quiet of getting dressed. The moment he buttons his jacket for the last time as just himself. The details he chose because they meant something. The monogrammed cuffs, the boutonniere, the pocket square. All of it intentional. All of it his.

Cocktail hour is the exhale of the wedding day.

The ceremony is over, the vows have been said, and suddenly everyone you love is in the same place at the same time with a drink in their hand and nowhere else to be. The guitarist is playing something that fits perfectly even though nobody planned it that way. Your friends are already laughing about something from the ceremony. Strangers become table neighbors become people you’ll remember forever.

This is the hour we live for behind the camera. Nobody is posed. Nobody is performing. Everyone is just genuinely, completely there.

Hi, we’re Justine and Steven. And if you’re new here, welcome.
We’re the husband and wife team behind the camera — but off the clock (kind of, we don’t really have an off the clock).

We’re just two people who are obsessed with traveling anywhere that has good food, have an embarrassing amount of Disneyland trips on the books, and will always say yes to a dinner with the people we love most.

Photography and film found us through our own love story, and honestly we never looked back. This work doesn’t feel like work to us. It feels like the thing we were supposed to be doing all along.

Crossword puzzles at every table filled with questions about their years together, the kind only the people who love them most would know how to answer. Origami cranes folded with care, their favorite drinks in hand, and a cake topper that represented them.
