Do I photograph newborns past that 2 week mark??? Of course I do! And this one went splendidly!!

If baby isn't brand new out of the oven, it doesn't mean you should skip it. Listen, I get it - there's a lot going on leading up to having a baby and sometimes, you don't think of photos until they are done cooking. So yes, reach out to me - book the photos! It could come out absolutely perfect like this little one.

Mom told me she really only wanted candid photos. So that's what we did.

But don't worry, that doesn't mean you have to know what to do. It's about me prompting you and still getting the fun expressions and emotions naturally.

So yeah, they are plan-dids. Planned candids.

Love when people come to see me from other states! This family was from Minnesota.

As a Phoenix Destination Photographer, I love getting to show them our Arizona beauty and to give them a wonderful experience that they can look back on!

I'm even trying to get better at listing my favorite restaurant spots, cause believe it or not, I'm asked questions like a lot at the end of our sessions. So just add local guide to my skills too! 🙃

No reason to wait for "the right time."

So many times I hear things like, "When I lose weight...when I slow down...when I..."
You make time. That's the thing about photo sessions, they are scheduled, you invest, you prioritize, and you make intentional time. Whether it's 20 minutes or a full hour session - you are making the time to be with each other and to document the season of life happening right now.

You aren't just doing it for you, you are doing it for future you, future children, grandchildren....it's part of legacy you are even leaving behind one day.

So make the time! No excuses.

I kept looking on my calendar (planner) for Grandparents Day...I kept saving and holding on to these from last month to post...and I couldn't find the date. So I said, "Oh phooey, it's time to post them!"

There is nothing like a grandparents love! And these were visiting from out of state and it was a windy, cloudy day in the desert - but it didn't stop us from getting great moments.
