I know understand what my neighbor told me… 👇🏽
The other day I had a friendly chat with my new neighbor and he told me he’d been living here for 9 years. He said at first he wasn’t quite sure if Sedona was a HOME for him. How he thought it was just a travel through town until his partner asked him to try it for one year.
One year passed and he’s like, okay let’s do another, and then another passed, next thing you know, it’s 9 years later.
He said that Sedona has this special thing where it “gives back to you”. The red rocks, nature, and landscape gives back in a way that leaves you … happy.
The wildlife here is ABUNDANT and the seasons of this specific desert vs. something down south like Pheonix or Tucson.
It’s green and desert in the most beautiful way and don’t get me started on the scent the juniper trees give off. it’s WONDERFUL!!
All this to say, I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing 7 months of my life here so far and I still have a couple more.
Here are some photographs I’ve taken that I think will showcase its beauty 🏜️🌼🌿✨
What do you think , did I do justice?☺️
As always, make sure you follow leave no trace and respect wildlife, local communities, and the land 🌿
Tread mindfully.
