A client and friend recently lost her “mema” and shared this photo from the memorial service. They hired me to take these photos and this is the perfect example of why I became a photographer. You don’t want the only recent photo available to be one when you were sick or injured. You want to be remembered for who you are, a vibrant and full of life person, a peaceful and calm person, or maybe an energetic and joyful person. You may be a mix of any of those people.
We are not guaranteed tomorrow, so take the pictures today! Whether you hire someone or it’s any random person who can push the button, take the photos. EXIST IN PHOTOS!!! Don’t leave your loved ones with some ancient photo because you felt embarrassed in front of the camera. You won’t care and they will be so thankful for a beautiful recent photo of you.

This family! They give SO much from what I've seen and there's so much I know I haven't seen. Saying that I love this family is a major understatement. They're incredible and a blessing to anyone who happens to even cross their paths. So very thankful for this family and that they choose daily to follow God's plans.

This incredible woman has just finished college and is on to go for her masters. She is a fantastically fun and gorgeous girl as she is intelligent! So thankful that our paths crossed and though I'm excited for her next adventures I will miss her.
