Today was a beautiful combination of covered bridges and my first look at Lake Erie! 🌉🌊
While exploring the countryside around Conneaut, I got to see some of the area's historic covered bridges and enjoy the peaceful rural scenery along the way.
Then I caught my first glimpse of Lake Erie, and wow! After spending so much time along the Atlantic coast, it was really cool to experience one of the Great Lakes up close. It almost feels like an ocean when you're standing along the shoreline!
A day filled with historic bridges, beautiful countryside, and a brand-new Great Lake checked off the list. Not a bad way to spend a travel day! 🚐🐶💙
And of course... this is just the beginning of exploring Ohio. ❤️

Okay... you absolutely have to see Niagara Falls from the Canadian side! 🌊🇨🇦
After seeing the falls from the U.S. side, I crossed over to Canada—and WOW. The panoramic view of the falls from this side is incredible. You can see the entire sweep of Horseshoe Falls, and honestly, I think this might be the best view of Niagara Falls!
I spent the evening taking it all in, watching the falls light up as darkness settled in, and then decided to stick around for the fireworks. 🎆🌊
Watching fireworks explode over Niagara Falls was the perfect way to end the night. Between the roar of the water, the colorful lights, and fireworks lighting up the sky, it was one of those travel moments that I'll never forget.
Niagara Falls was impressive from the American side... but seeing it from Canada?
Absolutely spectacular. ❤️🌊🇨🇦

You know me... if there's an aquarium nearby, I'm probably going! 🐠😂💙
The Aquarium of Niagara may be small compared to some of the huge aquariums I've visited, but it's definitely small and mighty!
I loved exploring the exhibits and learning about marine life, but one of my favorite surprises was the Great Lakes section. Being right here near the Great Lakes, it was especially cool to learn more about the freshwater ecosystem and the incredible animals that call these waters home.
Sometimes smaller attractions can pack just as much personality—and this aquarium definitely did.
Another stop checked off the Niagara Falls adventure, and another reminder that I can apparently find an aquarium almost anywhere I go! 😂🐟🦭

You can't come to Niagara Falls and not see it from the water! 🌊🚢
Today I climbed aboard the Maid of the Mist, and getting this close to the falls was an experience I'll never forget.
Seeing Niagara from the shoreline is incredible, but being out on the water gives you an entirely different perspective. As we approached the falls, the roar of the water got louder, the mist started flying, and suddenly you realize just how massive and powerful they really are.
Standing there surrounded by all that rushing water was exhilarating, a little overwhelming, and absolutely amazing. 💙
This was definitely a must-see on my Niagara Falls adventure—and one I'm incredibly glad I didn't skip!

My first look at Niagara Falls... and what a way to see it! 🌊✨
Arriving at dusk and watching the falls begin to light up was absolutely incredible. The colors shining through the mist, the sound of the rushing water, and the sheer power of the falls made it impossible not to just stand there and take it all in.
I've seen plenty of pictures and videos of Niagara Falls, but nothing really prepares you for experiencing it in person. You can feel the power of the water long before you even get close.
And seeing the falls illuminated as darkness settled in made the whole experience feel almost magical. 💙🌈
This was only my first look... and I already know I'll be spending plenty more time here exploring everything Niagara has to offer.

After all the adventures in Maine, it was time to head south and explore Lake George! 🏞️💙
The scenery here is absolutely beautiful. Surrounded by the Adirondack Mountains, Lake George has that perfect combination of sparkling water, forest-covered mountains, and classic New England charm.
I spent the day wandering around, taking in the views, and enjoying a little change of scenery after all the exploring in Acadia.
It's amazing how different each stop on this journey can be. One day I'm standing on the rocky Maine coastline, and the next I'm surrounded by mountains and a gorgeous Adirondack lake.
The adventure continues! 🚐🐶❤️

Today Bebe and I saw Acadia from a completely different perspective—a Bar Harbor nature cruise! 🐶⛴️💙
Getting out on the water gave us incredible views of the Acadia coastline that you simply can't get from the road. We cruised past Egg Rock Lighthouse, spotted eagles soaring and perched all around us, and got to see some of Acadia's most beautiful landmarks from the water.
And of course, Bebe was right there taking it all in with me. 🐾❤️ She's becoming quite the little travel expert!
There's something special about seeing the mountains rise directly from the ocean. The rugged coastline, islands, wildlife, and crystal-clear Maine air made this one of my favorite Acadia experiences yet.
Between hiking the trails, driving the Park Loop Road, chasing sunsets, and now exploring from the water, I've experienced Acadia from just about every angle—and somehow it keeps getting better.
And yes... the bird nerd was VERY happy about all those eagles! 😂🦅💚

Another day exploring the incredible coast of Maine! 🌊💙
I made my way to Otter Point in Acadia National Park, where the rugged coastline and crashing Atlantic waves created some absolutely beautiful scenery. The rocky shoreline, ocean breeze, and endless views made it another one of those Acadia stops where I could have stayed for hours.
Then it was off to Bar Harbor to wander around and take in the charm of this classic New England coastal town. From the harbor views to the shops, historic buildings, and boats coming and going, it was the perfect way to finish the day.
Acadia has completely won me over. Between the mountains, lakes, rocky coastline, and little coastal towns nearby, there seems to be something incredible around every corner.
Still not ready to leave Maine! ❤️🌊🗼

Today I hiked the entire loop around Jordan Pond, one of Acadia National Park's most iconic spots. 🥾🏞️
It was definitely more crowded than some of the quieter places I've explored in the park, but honestly... it was still worth it!
The trail winds around the crystal-clear pond with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, rocky shoreline, forests, and those classic Acadia landscapes that make you stop every few minutes for another photo. 📸💙
After finding the peaceful solitude of Bubble Pond, Jordan Pond was a completely different experience. More people, more activity, but also an incredible trail that lets you experience the lake from so many different angles.
Sometimes you have to share the view to experience one of the places that makes a park famous—and Jordan Pond definitely earned its reputation.
Acadia keeps finding new ways to impress me! 🌲⛰️💙

I think I found one of Acadia's hidden gems. 💎🏞️
Today I hiked around Bubble Pond, and the conditions couldn't have been more perfect. Not a cloud in the sky, calm water, and a beautiful mountain landscape reflected perfectly across the lake.
It was one of those places where everything just seemed to line up. The kind of peaceful scenery that makes you slow down, look around, and think, wow... I'm really lucky to be here.
After exploring some of Acadia's more famous sights, discovering a quieter spot like Bubble Pond was such a treat. No crowds, no rush—just an incredibly beautiful lake surrounded by Maine's rugged landscape.
Definitely adding this one to my list of Acadia favorites! 💙
