You were my best friend for almost 18 years
I still remember the day we found you in the gutter
Both of us were a couple of unwanted pieces of trash
But with you by my side, anywhere we ended up became home. You were very protective of me when Matthew first came into the picture, but you quickly accepted him and later were so proud the day we brought Gideon home.
I will always miss the way you used to argue with me like you were a people, and having to be involved in every task that required zero cats.

This concept has been one of my longest running projects, with the original inspiration coming from another artists work on in 2024.

I loved everything about what this concept represents and Iโ€™m so excited to have worked with together for this project. She did such a fabulous job on this wig and even helped me on set the day of the photoshoot.

Some of my favorite shots from this set with wearing this lovely scarf I was gifted by .b.deluna

I was shocked to see how well Sarahโ€™s hair coordinated with the scarf, and the contrast of colors with the blue of the river.

The reflection of the trees was the icing on top ๐Ÿค—

Also, has anyone noticed Iโ€™ve been playing around with mixing two different edits in my shoots? Iโ€™ve been really loving mixing the crisp rich edits with softer, muted ones.

Combating my crippling perfectionism by breaking rules I made up in my head like โ€œEverything has to be exactly the sameโ€ and replacing it with something like โ€œduality can be cohesiveโ€. Not sure if it makes sense, but itโ€™s what weโ€™re doing ๐Ÿฅฒ
