When she was mid-way through high school her parents decided to trade snow boots for flip flops and they all moved to sunny Arizona. Ali's love for photography really took off during her college years at the University of Arizona when she would go on road trips with her friends and take pictures along the way. All of a sudden you'd hear her yell "stoppppp!" and the car would come to a screeching h
alt in order to capture something only Ali had the eye to see while going 45 m.p.h. down a dirt road in the middle of nowhere. Ever since, Ali has been dragging her husband and friends all over the country to capture some of God's most wonderful sites. She does not shy away from waking up her best friend at 3 a.m. to catch the sunrise at the Grand Canyon, or making her husband go on an 8 mile hike. Did I mention he was in flip flops? In the dark... just so she could get a breathtaking shot of lava flowing into the ocean while vacationing in Hawaii. As the not-so-early-morning-person best friend writing this, I'll say we don't mind going along with Ali's crazy ideas just to get to experience such wonderful sites - "anything for a picture" we say...
Brand loyal to Nikon, Ali loves shooting with a D7000 camera. She enjoys photographing nature more than anything else, especially when traveling to new places.
