Hey there, I am Gabrielle Sherwood, owner and operator of FierceFocusPhoto based out of Phoenix, Arizona. A little about me, I was given my first camera at 15 from my grandmother as a Christmas gift, a Canon Rebel XS. At the time it was all the gear I needed to start my photography journey. I didn't know at the time but it would soon become one of my greatest passions. At first, I wasn't sure wha

t I wanted to photograph, so I tried everything, craving to find my niche. It didn't take long with my people-loving personality to figure out it was everything portraits. What started as taking photos of my friends & family, blossomed into graduation portraits, engagements and eventually photographing my first wedding.

I have always loved making people feel their best and most confident. I couldn't tell you how many times I get the old " I never look good in photos" bit, which only makes me that much more excited to completely change how they feel about getting their picture taken. My goal is to make each and everyone of my clients feel comfortable, confident, and that we will conquer any fear they have about having their photo taken in the small amount of time we have together. I strive to capture these one-of-a-kind moments for you, and ensure that we have the most fun doing it. I can honestly say, Ive worked with other photographers, and none operate the way I do.

He got the girl. I got the album-cover-worthy engagement session. Everybody wins. 😂🎸🖤 Dallin & Addy showed up nervous. Like “what the hell are we supposed to DO with our hands?” nervous. 😂So naturally: elder emo love songs, questionable posing instructions, and me cracking jokes until they forgot I was holding a camera.

7 business minutes later: ROCKSTARS. 😭🔥

Then hour two got a little more them — pillow fights, chaos, giggling, and zero corporate-headshot-with-kissing energy. 😂🛏️

Also… THE BLUE TOPAZ RING. 💙
My birthstone. Obviously the universe said, “Yep. These are your people.”

She didn’t get engaged… she bought a house. 🏡💍😂

But honestly, I feel like buying a house deserves the exact same energy — so obviously we had to celebrate with a full photo session. ✨

And if you know her, you know this shoot couldn’t have been more perfectly her. An elder emo 🖤, a proud homebody, and now a homeowner?! Truly, the stars aligned for this one.

Getting to photograph this new chapter for someone I’ve known since we were coworkers is extra special. I’m so grateful for our friendship, but also for the way she has always believed in me creatively. She has never doubted my vision and somehow continues to refer me to literally everyone she knows — which, as a photographer, is basically the friendship equivalent of a five-star review with a lifetime membership. 😂🖤

And this is exactly why I love being a photographer. I don’t just want to photograph your wedding day — I want to be there for the life that happens after it, before it, and everything in between.

If you caught Part 2 first, here’s how it all began.

This session was almost a decade in the making.

We tried to make it happen three different times over the years, but life had other plans. Every date fell through, every plan shifted, and it just never came together… until last Saturday.

And honestly? I don’t think it was supposed to happen any sooner.

With Cathedral Rock standing behind them, we wandered across the red rocks, hiked toward the ledges, and watched the Arizona wind put on a show—lifting her dress in the most Marilyn Monroe kind of way. It was effortless, cinematic, and somehow even better than we had imagined.

But what makes these photos so special isn’t Sedona.

It’s that nearly ten years after their wedding day, this incredible couple still chooses each other. Every day. They built a marriage long before they built these portraits, and now they finally have bride and groom photos in their wedding attire that reflect the love they’ve spent all these years creating together.

Some things are worth waiting for.

Some stories deserve more than a chapter… they deserve a lifetime.

I met these two when we were all just 16 years old. Back then, none of us could’ve imagined we’d be standing in the middle of a Sedona creek years later, creating something that felt straight out of The Notebook.

Barefoot splashes turned into water fights. Soft whispers became stolen glances. Dramatic dips, lingering touches, and a smolder that could make anyone’s knees weak. Every frame felt like a reminder that the best love stories don’t just survive the years—they get even more beautiful.

Watching my clients grow up, fall in love, and trust me to tell each new chapter of their story is one of the greatest honors of this job. This session wasn’t just a photoshoot… it was a full-blown romance movie, and I don’t think I’ll ever be over it. 🤍✨ If your love deserves its own movie scene, I already know the perfect location 💋

What happens in Vegas… doesn’t always stay in Vegas. 🎲✨

After making it official in Vegas, these two brought the celebration home and surrounded themselves with the people who mean the most to them. Every guest got their moment in front of the camera, every hug felt a little tighter, and every smile seemed a little bigger.

But let’s talk about these bride and groom photos. 😍

Tucked away at a hidden gem of a venue in Mesa, we wandered off for a few quiet moments and created some of my favorite couple portraits to date. The way they look at each other, the effortless laughter, the kind of connection you don’t have to pose or force—it was all just there. The backdrop was beautiful, but these two made the photos.

A Vegas wedding. An Arizona celebration. And a whole lot of proof that when you’ve found your person, every chapter deserves to be celebrated. 🤍✨

Over a decade of photographing this beautiful momma… and the last 6 years getting to watch her babies grow into the sweetest little humans has been such an honor. 🤍

This last-minute spring session with her three favorite butterflies was full of dancing, twirls, contagious smiles, and so much love. The kind of love you can feel just standing near them.

These girls adore their momma in the purest way, and honestly, who wouldn’t? A woman who has moved mountains, leads with kindness, and is raising three beautiful souls that are already making the world a better place. You can already tell they all want to be just like her someday. 🌸

There was something so beautifully timeless about these two 🤍✨

Before ever seeing each other, they stood back to back for their first touch, sharing private vows filled with emotion, laughter, and quiet tears without ever breaking the surprise. One of those moments that reminds me why I love photographing weddings so much.

And this bride… absolutely breathtaking. Her sparkly gown caught the light in the most magical way, but somehow still didn’t outshine her natural beauty, grace, and softness throughout the entire day. Paired with the romance of stained glass windows and dreamy film-like portraits, every moment felt straight out of an old love story 🕊️💍
