Since y'all seem to like the videos better, here's one of Box CaƱon Falls near Ouray, Colorado.

Yes, we were that close... Monterey Bay, CA. October 2022

Before anybody starts going off about being too close, truth be told, it came up to us. The boat captain said there was a canyon about 5 or so miles out of the bay, that dolphins hang out at, and he was going to take us there. When they got there, he shut the engines off, and we sat there for about 10 mins. He was right about to start the engines, and head back, when the spotter called out "whale on the starboard side". Knowing a little (very little, but I knew starboard vs. port) what they meant, I ran to that side of the boat.
The whale was about 100 feet away, but started slowly swimming towards the boat. It actually went under the boat, and everybody ran to the port side. He then proceeded to turn around and disappear for a few minutes, only to show up about 50 feet away, on the starboard side again, and swimming towards the boat, again. As you can see in the 2nd pic, it actually came right up to the side of the boat, and stayed there for a minute or two. After that, he went back under the boat, popped up on the other side, and slowly started swimming away. Yes, it was a great day!

The Wreck of the Peter Iredale is what's left of the steel skeleton of a ship that ran ashore in 1906. This was one that I was looking forward to on our trip a few weeks ago, in Oregon.

While eating breakfast this morning, we were joined by a Northern Cardinal family. Sorry. Had to put some music to it because there were a bunch of people talking in the audio.

This is Seaside Beach. I took this video because I'm from Arizona, and thought this was awesome. lol
It had rained all day, so the sand was wet, but that wind was crazy, and so was the sand blowing around.

Big Head Todd and the Monsters playin' on the stereo. A couple of sprinkles on the windshield. Perfect!

Sahalie Falls at the base of Mount Hood, in Oregon. Sometimes dumb luck is the best! I had no idea there was a waterfall, I was just trying to get a better/closer shot of Mount Hood, on this side road going up the mountain. I was going to turn around, but the road was too narrow. And then I saw a little clearing and a bridge, and thought "what a perfect place to turn around". As we got closer, you could hear the sound of running water, so I pulled over to look, and this is what was there. A tour guide van came up a few mins. later, and the guide told us the name of the falls.
