I am a fine art illustrator with a passion for bringing joy to peoples’ lives through the beauty of pencil illustrations. I specialize in using colored and graphite pencils which allow me to create highly detailed, life-like illustrations. When away from the studio, I love doing nature and
wildlife photography—often using my photos as a reference for my illustrations. My signature trademark is the superb attention to detail and textures. Pets, birds, animals, people, landscapes, cityscapes, and cartoon-style illustrations are all my specialty. There isn't any subject that I won't draw! Each illustration presents its own unique set of challenges and involves a painstaking approach to replicating different features (fur, feathers, hair, etc.) with every pencil stroke, one at a time—involving countless hours of work. Every illustration is drawn entirely by hand from start to finish. No AI or digital media is ever used to create or assist with an illustration. In addition to calling The United States home, I lived in New Zealand from 2014-2019, traveling extensively through the country and learning about its rich culture and unique flora and fauna. I've traveled to Australia, Belize, Canada, Costa Rica, England, and Spain. Original commissions and artwork prints have been sold throughout the United States, New Zealand, Australia, and Europe.
