Another fun session with Morgan Green- highlighting her love of Rodeo in this last minute session for her yearbook. Such a nice young lady who loves the Lord and is a creative soul. She loves to draw and wright song lyrics when she isn't riding her horses or roping steers. Her smile is contagious ❤️

This is why I shoot RAW and learned how to use Photoshop Layers, curves, and levels years ago.... for moments like this! It happens to all of us.... sometimes we shoot fast and miss a setting causing us to over-expose or under-expose. Without enough data, you can not recover most files if the pixels are blown out. But when you shoot RAW you can definitely "save" most of them. If it's truly blown out you can't fix it.. but at first glance, I thought this was blown out and it ended up being just fine. It's not the best pose... but you get my idea.

I haven't been sharing much over here and have continued to take a break from doing much photography. Going forward I am going to be available for a few select passions.

Horses have always been my passion, and I truly love capturing their beauty- especially when it involves their humans.

Sophie's first horse Bop came to her 6 years ago. While she was Sophie's horse she was a big part of our family too; since Bop stayed with us for a few years. Carley and Sophie would have horse days together riding across the desert, bathing, braiding and riding double. They made so many memories together and learned so much from Bop! We knew Bop was getting up in age and when Jessica called me to see if I would capture some images of her and Sophie, I just had to be there! Rest in Peace ol' girl- you are missed and loved so much
