Mike was in a deep contemplative state during our time together, awaiting his latest biopsy results. Since being diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 2007, he's had five recurrences despite chemotheraphy and stem cell treatments. He blames long-term use of the weed-killer product, Roundup, and has a pending lawsuit against the company.
Through all the pain, sadness and anger, we were able to find optimism and lightness. We shared moments of inspiration and reasons to keep fighting. I'm rooting for you, Mike 💜
