What a spot and you get a good little workout getting here. And it’s steep! This nightly park is great for stargazing but I wouldn’t want to be out here at night. Arches National Park has the densest concentration of natural stone arches in the world. There are over 2,000 documented arches in the park, ranging from sliver-thin cracks to spans greater than 300 feet (97 m). This is just one of many, with a great loop drive to take in the scenery if you don’t wish to hike.

Island sounds!

After our spin around Fort de France, in Martinique, we took a sweet little detour during our excursion. I just love the sounds of the Caribbean including the rainforest.
While we could have rented a car and chartered our own path on this day, sometimes it’s nice to sit back and let someone else run the show.

Wishing all of our friends a great Burn! Of course I wish my car was packed and I was headed out to the desert. But alas...

Ahhh cruising. I think I’m done with you and then I scroll thru my photos and go “oh ya! I still like you”

The thing I really like is trying to figure out what the booze hack is on every cruise line. With Holland America, we figured out which bar had the Happy Hour each day (and of course that’s where you’d find us). For Norwegian, it was buying a bottle of w**e at dinner. Best value! For Virgin, we bought a partial drink package (and they give you a bonus) so that worked out almost to the dollar. I’m nothing if not a good planner. Royal Caribbean allowed only one of us to get the package (there are ways around the rules eh) so that was a perfect solution as my husband felt like enjoying ALL the sips, while I just sipped on my cosmo.
While we do enjoy the spirits, I’m not into the sauce heavily every single day (so a full drink package doesn’t make sense for me). Usually our excursions come with some kind of beverage, or maybe we are enjoying something in port. I just get what I want, when I want it, and almost always it’s less than what the drink package is. But no judgement here, go wild and enjoy yourself however you see fit.

Arizona has so many cool things to see, and trails for days! 230 miles north of Phoenix, in the north eastern part of the state is Canyon De Shelly, with cliff dwellings and blue skies to complement the scene.
