Perfect

Perfect is a word that has so many different levels and meanings to so many people.

For me, it describes most weddings that I am able to be apart of. Not in the typical way that you may think.

Perfect in a way that you are able to get ready with your built in best friend & brother and dance while you shine your shoes and open the door to great the photographer you haven’t even met before.

Perfect in a way that your mother is able to place your necklace around your neck and close the clasp with her hands that once held you when nothing else in the world mattered to her, but you.

Perfect in the way that your father is able to turn around and be the first man to see you as beautiful as can be before he hands you off to be a new man’s baby girl.

Perfect in the way how everyone can hear the brides giggle from seeing a certain photo of her face scrunched up from pure joy.

Perfect in a way that I am able to share a comforting silence with two souls as they bare themselves and most intimate thoughts to each other before becoming one and hearing the giggles and seeing the tears that roll off their cheeks.

Perfect in a way that their childlike giddi-ness is on display for their family and friends to witness firsthand.

Perfect in a way that a grandmother is able to see her 4th generation grandbaby grow out of love and compassion.

I could go on and on and on about how perfect this day was but I’ll stop here and wish a life of love, blessings and sooo much happiness to the newly wed Forte family, cheers to you guys and thank you so much for having me along on this perfect, perfect day.

This morning I was thinking about how blessed I have been this year to stay busy, document, and hang out with so many amazing people. It is not a privilege I take lightly, I still get butterflies in my belly days leading up to a shoot and on the way to. I want so badly to make sure my friends and clients are more than happy with the work I deliver, I want to make sure they LOVE their preserved images and memories. I love people, I love life & I love to take photos - anyone who has spent more than thirty minutes with me, knows that.

So I decided to offer a Black Friday/ Cyber Monday deal this year… hehehe - again, to give back to my many clients that have hired me numerous times for all kinds of life’s milestones since 2016 and the people that I’ve met within the last 4 years of living here in The Valley.

Attached are some slides of my favorites shoots from this year along with some kind words the people in the photos were gracious enough to say about me and the work I do.

I really thought about this post and made it as straight forward and to the point as I possibly could. This is not a deal to pass up and will benefit you in the new year and give you a feeling of ease and relief to not only have one BUT TWO shoots paid for.

I’ve been around a lot of little ones lately, I am so happy for friends and clients moving through beautiful stages of life - it is such a blessing to be able to pop into your lives for a few hours and witness all the chaos and love front row.

I could go ahead and write a very, very long run on sentence about how much Mariah and her son mean to me but I will just keep it short and sweet. We’ve grown a beautiful friendship over the last few years and I feel so lucky to know her and be able to call her a great friend. Talan is so adorable and he will be so, so proud to have you as him Mom. Keep making Dusty proud ❤️🖤
