With love, from a golden evening in the Santa Monica Mountains💌🎞️🫶🏻

I was so excited getting this film back!!! I only shot a couple rolls because I really wanted each photo to count rather than wasting a bunch of film on mundane shots and omg!!!!! I’m so happy I did that because these turned out feeling like heaven.

It’s one of those moments where the light is perfect, the dress and veil are flowing in the wind, the temp outside was just right, and the people are amazing.

This job is 10/10 some days🥲

All shot on 120mm and 35mm with my Pentax 645n and canon rebel with a 35mm f1.4 & I used Kodak gold and touched my scans up in Lightroom 🤍

This wedding had the lighting of my dreammmms. ILY Cabo. ILY flora farms. I have so much more from this day I want to share so so so soon!!!!

Everything about this day felt amazing. It was the perfect temp outside. It was the perfect lighting. Perfect people. Just all around one of those weddings that you leave feeling emotionally full in the best way.

And there was cat. Like really what more could you ask for?

I DON’T KNOW HOW IT GETS BETTER THAN THIS !!!!!! IN MY BEST DRESS !!! FEARLESS !!

Sometimes is the silly teenage songs I love most when I pick out music for a post because isn’t that what it’s all about:

Finding the person who makes you feel like a 16 year old riding shotgun with your hair undone in the front seat of their car?

My goal for this year has been simplicity. At its core what I do is the simplest thing. I get to help people remember their happiness.

I walk into every wedding and every photoshoot with that at the forefront of my mind. I’m helping people simply remember this very moment in their life.

Stop making it complicated. Put on Fearless by Taylor Swift (TV OR ELSE😤) before your next wedding or session and let it all go. BUT hold onto one thing: happiness. Yours and your clients.

Make it simple!!!!! Keep it simple!!!!! Over complication kills the joy of it all!!!!!!

When I say “how it felt” this is what I mean. I want my photos to not only look good, but to feel good. I want people to walk away from my work with a sense of “I feel like I was there”.

This day felt so easy to make that goal a reality. One of those days you walk into and everything just feels right, even when things aren’t going perfectly. Like it was always supposed to happen the way it did.

If I had one wish for people seeing these photos, it’s that you get to feel what we all felt in that room as Maggie and Ben said their heart wrenching vows that left literally zero eyes dry, including mine.

Just simple easy love. HOW IT FELT!!!

These two had one of the most beautiful, vibrant, unique, and intentional wedding days that I’ve ever had the honor of being a part of. I stayed late two nights in a row because I forgot to look at my phone and I didn’t care one bit.

This first photo just might be my favorite photo I’ve ever taken. A genuinely candid moment, pointing the buildings at the bottom of the valley.

…and the wind was crazyyyy!!! But something about me is I LOVE WIND!!!!! It’s like a little invisible prop that just makes every photo a little bit more elevated.

P.s. on the way to this shoot I saw a triple rainbow and almost drove off the road I was so excited

Launching March 29th…the Intuitive Posing Course!!!!

This has been a project I’ve been working on since last summer and I’m so incredibly proud of the way everything came together for my very first course.

This course is all about extending the idea of posing beyond a set list of Pinterest poses, and learning to connect with your clients in a way that allows you to lead your sessions from a place of intuition and creativity.

There are 8 sessions in total:

+ 4 couples sessions
+ 1 primary bridal session + a bonus mini session
+ 2 portrait sessions

+ how to find your posing style and become confident in your brand
+ connecting with your clients and creating an intentional experience for them
+ a basic guide to composition and cropping

Found Sedona’s back door for this shoot after spending about 5 hours location scouting with my fiancé, three dogs, a large stuffed crust pizza, and some extra fun stuff, if you know what I mean🌿
