wow… can’t believe I’ve been posting photos and haven’t actually introduced myself yet 🫣

I’m Ashton, a portrait photographer based in Arizona. I photograph political candidates, professionals, couples, and families, capturing both people and politics.

Before I ever picked up a camera, I spent nearly a decade working behind the scenes with candidates, activists, and elected officials on the left… helping shape messaging, branding, and speeches, and coaching people to show up confidently and connect with voters. Somewhere along the way, I realized I wanted to take everything I’d learned about storytelling, personality, and authenticity and put it into images instead.

Now I specialize in portraits that feel real, confident, and human.. whether that’s for a campaign, a personal brand, or the people you love most. I believe the personal is political, and that your photos should tell your story with honesty, warmth, and a sense of place. Here in Arizona, that means desert light, texture, and tones doing some of the work too.
