The guitar wasn’t something we added just to give Ty something to do with his hands. It’s part of who he is right now.

That’s exactly the kind of thing I want to know when we’re planning your senior session. If there’s something you’ve spent years doing, learning or loving, let’s find a way to make it part of your pictures—without making every photograph about it.

There's no right answer for your senior session, and you don't have to choose based on where everyone else is taking their pictures.

Maybe you love the clean lines, architecture and texture of the city. Maybe you'd rather have open space, tall grass and a little room to move. Or maybe your answer is both.

Your locations should do more than give us somewhere pretty to take pictures. They help set the tone for your session and should feel like they make sense for you.

Same senior. Same outfit. Completely different photographs.

One of the biggest misconceptions about senior pictures is that variety has to come from bringing more stuff.

More outfits. More props. More locations.

It doesn't.

Changing the light, composition, movement and the way we use a location can completely change the photograph without changing you.

Your outfits matter - but we don't need your closet in the car to create a gallery with variety.

A little peek at the Sperk's family session. 🤍

The photographs I love most from family sessions usually aren't about everyone standing perfectly still.

They're the little looks between people.

The laugh that happened after someone thought the picture was over.

The way a child naturally reaches for a parent.

And yes - we'll absolutely make the beautiful family portrait, too.

But I also want the photographs that feel like your family being your family.

POV: You told your photographer you have NO idea how to pose.

You don’t have to know what to do with your hands.

You don’t need to practice poses in the mirror.

And you definitely don’t need to walk into your senior session knowing how to model.

That’s part of my job.

I’ll direct you, keep you moving and make adjustments along the way so you aren’t standing there wondering, “Okay…what do I do now?”
