don’t know how some creators are out here pumping out pictures like a whole printing press because baby… I haven’t even got my images out for today yet. 😂

I’m over here trying to perfect mine exactly the way I want them, fighting with tiny details, fixing lighting, fixing poses, fixing realism, fixing the “why does her hand look like it belongs to a haunted mannequin” problem… and then boom, image generation limit.

Now I gotta sit here and wait almost an hour before I can get back at it. Meanwhile I see creators dropping pictures all day long like they got a secret underground image factory running in the basement.

I’m like… how in the hell are y’all doing this? Lol because I am over here rationing generations like they’re the last snacks in the house. 😭🤣

Creator life is not for the weak. We are tired, dramatic, and apparently on a cooldown timer. 🖤✨

Let’s talk about inspiration for a second.

The first image has been floating around Pinterest and social media. I found it on January 30 and recreated it in my own way that same day. The first one is the Pinterest image. The second one is the one I recreated. 

That’s what Pinterest is for: inspiration. A pose, a vibe, a shirt idea, a mood, a lighting style, a concept. We see something, we get inspired, and then we create our own version with our own face, body, style, energy, editing, and creative direction. I create my own photos but I do take inspiration from Pinterest at times sometimes I like to incorporate the inspiration that I get from there rather it be a T-shirt or a quote.

But here’s where people get it twisted:
You can’t find an image floating around on Pinterest, recreate your own version of it, and then turn around acting like you invented the whole concept.

Inspiration is not theft.
A public Pinterest image is not a personal receipt.
And a recreated idea is not “stolen art” just because more than one person was inspired by the same image.

Create your version. Make it yours. Add your flavor. But don’t gatekeep a concept you found on the same internet everyone else uses.

There’s room for everybody to be creative without turning inspiration into drama. 🖤
