We came across this vast area of burnt forest where the burnt tree remains looked kinda like burnt toothpicks sticking out the ground, the orange and greens amongst the black burnt up trees really stood out to me.

Haven't been out for night pics in a while, got out the other night just south of Harrold SD. I have several abandoned locations mapped out i need to check out or have been to, this one i'd not been to yet, worked out nicely, will have to get back to this one for a sunset at some point.

Supercell Sunset.
8/27/26, Some unexpected storms started firing off and blowing up pretty quickly.
I was too late for some of the better cells but i saw this cell firing off and blowing up QUICK so i headed south of Pierre to see what i could get. It tried hard for a while to become something but there just wasn't enough steam.
After this there were some more cells starting to fire headed my direction and starting to put on quite the nice lightning show, I will have some of those shots later.
I did manage to get a 92 shot timelapse getting me a whole 3-4 seconds of timelapse video.😆🌅🌪
