What a beautiful day celebrating Trevor & MacKenzie!

They were married on September 5th at Black Hills Meadow in Piedmont, surrounded by stunning views, so much love and laughter, and quite possibly the biggest wedding party I have ever photographed!

MacKenzie was an absolutely gorgeous bride, and that dress was spectacular. But what made this day even more special for me was the family behind it. I have been photographing this family for nearly a decade, and it is such a privilege to be invited back again and again to capture these important moments in their lives.

There are SO many photos from this beautiful day that I cannot wait to share more!

Trevor & MacKenzie, thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your wedding day. I wish you a lifetime filled with love, laughter, happiness, and plenty of adventures together.

Only in Fort Pierre!

Last night’s Trader Days & Turkey Races did not disappoint!

Fast turkeys, determined racers, a whole lot of cheering, and plenty of moments that could only happen in Fort Pierre. I had so much fun capturing the action, and judging by some of these expressions, I’m not sure who was more competitive, the turkeys or their humans!

A big thank you to the Fort Pierre Chamber of Commerce and the City of Fort Pierre for continuing to support events that bring people together, create great memories, and remind us just how much fun our little community can have.

Here are a few of my favorites from the night. And yes, photographing a turkey running full speed toward you is exactly as ridiculous and entertaining as it sounds.
