Well I guess it’s probably time for a little life update because the last couple months have been an absolute dumpster fire mentally, emotionally and physically 😂
Between seeing a cardiologist, neurologist, going through autonomic testing, skin cancer checks, twice weekly chiropractor appointments and somehow ending up with a horrible infection in my hand that took weeks to finally heal, AND all my regular health issues, my body has definitely been keeping me on my toes. But I can officially say I have Dysautonomia now so I guess that’s cool to know what’s wrong with me 😂
Then our poor animals decided they wanted to join the chaos too. One of our cats was hit by a car (he’s okay now 😭🧡), and our sweet Appa is going fully blind. Adjusting to his new normal has been insanely emotional, but he’s honestly handling it so much better than we ever expected. He’s still the happiest boy even though he’s definitely struggling and confused as the vision loss progresses. I’m about to cry just typing this 😭
I’ve basically been playing professional photographer, professional patient, and emotional support human for our little zoo all at the same time 😅
Needless to say… life has been BUSY.
Through all of it, I’ve just been doing my best to keep my body moving, take care of my family (the furry ones included), and keep showing up for my amazing clients.
The good news? I’m finally feeling pretty good again, the appointments are dwindling and I’m getting caught back up with editing! I have a whole bunch of galleries heading out next week, including a freaking STUNNING Wisconsin wedding that I absolutely cannot wait to share with you all. Between the amazing couple, their fantastic friends and family and the stunning location it’s truly one you won’t want to miss 😍
Thank you to every single client, friend, and supporter who has been patient, understanding, and incredibly kind while I’ve been navigating all of this. It never goes unnoticed, and it means more to me than I could ever put into words.
Thank you for continuing to trust me with some of the biggest moments of your lives, even when mine has felt a little (ALOT) chaotic behind the scenes.
Now enough of the medical drama 😂 It’s time to get back to sharing all the beautiful stories I’ve had the privilege of documenting lately, because there are SO many good ones coming. Between all the chaos I’ve been making truly insanely magical images and I’m SO PUMPED TO SHARE.
Now let’s get back to waterfalls, weddings, flying dresses, climbing cliffs before sunrise, and all the beautiful chaos in life I actually enjoy. I’ve got so much to show you 🧡
