We had some fun in the studio yesterday during Kim's session! This cute little green dress of hers inspired me to create an image that was fun and bright, and celebrated color. Mission accomplished! Kim's friend, Katie, tagged along...and little did she know she'd be standing on a ladder, making it "rain." ❤📸☂

I love flowers…they just make me happy. All the bright colors and different shapes in bloom. And this afternoon, I got to visit the gardens of the beautiful woman on the right, while we created a few gorgeous portraits of her and her sweet daughter, dressed to celebrate their heritage…which is so obviously full of color and love! ❤📸🌸

This beautiful woman is Peggy, and she was today’s 40 over 40 Campaign participant. She brought in this gorgeous scarf, and we paired it with these fun yellow suede studio boots. I LOVE how it turned out…black on black with just a few pops of color! First time I’ve ever photographed the boots…I think they’d been waiting on the scarf. 📸❤

This little love is Alicia…she is one of the many sweet and lovable Caring Canines I’ve had in the studio to photograph in the past month. All these pups have been so well behaved and patient…I love having them in. 🐾❤📸
