The Kamin Science Center model train display. Growing up we had a very small train display in the basement, and I have always enjoyed model trains as a result. I know I have a fair bit of followers who are into the hobby (especially displays with industrial layouts) so hopefully you enjoy.

Last week I made a trip to the North Shore, and the bridges were lit up in Irish colors to announce the return of Aer Lingus' direct flights to Dublin. I wasn't particularly thrilled to be honest as I was hoping for them to be their normal colors, and there were banners stretched across each of them saying "Irish Exit". I always find the banners hung like that somewhat tacky. I ended up liking some of them though and tried my best to hide the banners. Any direct flight out of Pittsburgh is worth celebrating though.

Another in camera (using Fuji x100vi) Edgar Thomson double exposure. My original idea was the welcome to Braddock sign with Edgar Thomson but that one didn't turn out at all.

An Edgar Thomson in camera double exposure.

I've been using my Fujix100vi a lot more lately, and have been using the double exposure mode quite a bit. The success rate on these is pretty low, and whether this one is a success is up for debate, but I enjoyed trying.

I'll have a few more at some point, and will keep trying in interim. You could of course do something similar in Photoshop, and be more precise / have more control, but what's the fun in that....

Betsy Ann Chocolates in West View.

Sarris seems to be the bigger brand in Pittsburgh region, but Betsy Ann has been around a bit longer as it was established in 1938. Let me know if you have a preference. I'd probably choose Betsy Ann's if I was forced to pick. I'm certain either establishment's worst chocolate is better than what Hershey's is trying to pass off as chocolate these days. I am looking forward to visiting Hersheypark again this summer, the chocolate tastes a bit better when you're actually there.

First of a few West View photos.
