This has been an incredibly difficult season for me personally, which is why I’ve been pretty absent here. My mom passed away suddenly in April, we passed illness around our house most of that month, we went on our beach trip that my mom should’ve been on to spread her ashes, and my son has been in the hospital since last Sunday with a severe bone infection in his leg. To put it simply, this spring has been the worst of my life. I’m not saying this to get sympathy or anything like that, but to remind myself and maybe someone else that God said we’d have trouble in this life but TAKE HEART he has overcome the world. No matter what this world hands me, I know what is waiting for me on the other side.
