A few weeks ago, I got the honor to work with Dorothy and her family. She actually had won a raffle I participated in for Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley back in October. We chose an early April date to venture out to Hartwood Acres and capture their family’s lovely aura. Not only did we take some family pictures, but this was actually the place mom and dad got married! The first two images are recreations of original pictures from their wedding. 🖤

Hey all!

I've been wanting to do this FOREVER!

For anyone who struggles with the idea of paying a photographer a three digit price number (or.... more), I have broken it down a little bit, in words and numbers, to maybe help explain to a non-photographer what exactly goes into a photographer and their pricing.

I strongly encourage you to give it a read, especially if you have photographer friends and family. Even if you are a photographer. Maybe it will help you find some confidence in your pricing!

It's a hard world out there, and I don't judge protecting your finances for the times. Trust and believe, I am too!

But we are in this together.

And photographers gotta make a living just like everyone else.

So I hope this offers a little bit of insight into why prices may be the way they are! I am not every photographer, and I went off of my prices and packages, but hopefully you are able to plug this in a bit to any photo session you may be looking to book, but are a little scared of the price tag.

Good morning! 🌞

Is anyone out there still into dark and moody style photography?! It is what I started with, and where my heart sits.

The style these days is focused on true to color. Which is lovely, timeless, and elegant! I love this style of photo editing as well. But I miss my roots! I miss the deep shadows and warm tint. I need to reminisce.

With that being said, who wants to book a moody couples shoot? I'm overdue...🖤🥀

Since I have a point and shoot camera, I was able to take some pictures waaay up from my seats in the upper bowl, Tuesday March 31st. Penguins vs Detroit Red Wings.

Don’t judge the quality too hard! I was zooming from section 204, and this isn’t my usual camera. But thought it was pretty cool even though they’re dang near 8-bit. Check ‘em out! 🐧🏒
