I’ve been anti war, anti American Imperialism and opposed to the military industrial complex of the United States since I deployed to Iraq and realized that we are not the good guys.

Poor and working people in this country are sent to kill poor and working people in other countries to make the rich richer. Without racism, soldiers would realize that they have more in common with the people of Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan than they do with the billionaires who send us to war.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted — a lot has changed in the past year. My fiancée and I moved from Washington to Pennsylvania (what a drive, if you’re ever considering it!).
Over the last year, I’ve re-evaluated my career path. Photography will always be my passion, but I’ve decided to pursue work that offers greater stability and income.
In the process, I’ve turned to digital art as a new creative outlet. It’s involved plenty of trial and error as I’ve experimented with different styles to find what resonates with me.
I’ve created some pieces I’m really proud of, and I’m finally ready to start sharing them here. I’ll still shoot photography and portraits when I can; they’ll always hold a special place, but for now, I’m excited to explore these new artistic frontiers.
