As a client, Amy always trusts the process and because of that she always ends up with epic portraiture.

As a studio, our passion truly lies in preserving time and memories in the form of physical artwork. Each piece is fully custom from the size of the canvas, to the style of frame, to the visible hand painted brushstrokes that take a printed canvas to a whole new level.

Amy went into her session with a strong vision for artwork and what resulted was a stunning collection of art pieces. This photo, created in our renaissance art blend style, is part of a deconstructed family portrait series displayed alongside portraits of their children.

We are so grateful to our wonderful clients who allow us to continue making art that is both beautiful and meaningful for all who see it.

Some pieces begin with a leap of faith.

This was completely outside her comfort zone. Bodyscapes ask for a kind of vulnerability that isn't easy to offer up, especially to a camera, especially when you're still learning how to see yourself clearly. But she showed up anyway.

She wanted to see herself in a softer light. Not the version she's used to critiquing in mirror, but something gentler. Something that honors the lines and curves that make her who she is, without judgement attached to any of it.

There's a quiet kind of strength in choosing to be seen this way, in trusting that softness and empowerment aren't opposites. They exist in the same frame.

Thank you for trusting me with something this vulnerable. Getting to help you see yourself the way you deserve to be seen was an honor.

Some pieces ask you to hold two truths at once.

Mackenzie is our Gemini for the Zodiac series, representing duality. Two halves of the same whole, light and darkness existing side by side. Mackenzie wanted to see her growth, both where she's been and where she stands now.

There is courage in wanting to see your whole self reflected back at you. And beyond capturing this chapter of her life, she wanted something that would last well past it. A piece to pass down for generations, so the story doesn't end with her.

This piece is a product of my vision and her energy. That's how these pieces come to life: not from a formula, but from whatever resonates in this shared space between us. What you see, is something neither of us could have made aloneđź©·

Happy due date Isla ❤️‍🩹

At first, all I could think about was everything we didn’t get. Two more weeks of pregnancy. Two more weeks of feeling her kicks. Two more weeks to prepare.

But now I realize something so much sweeter.

We didn’t lose two weeks. We gained them.

Two extra weeks of holding her. Two extra weeks of hearing her little noises. Two extra weeks of late-night snuggles, tiny fingers wrapped around ours, and falling more in love with her every single day.

It’s funny how perspective changes everything. What felt like time taken away became the greatest gift we could have received.

There's something different about photographing a love thats had decades to deepen.

Thomas and Chris met as college seniors, young and just beginning. Now, all these years later, their faces have changed. Life has left its marks. But when they look at each other, its the same fire. Still each other's closest friends. Still each other's confidants. Still, somehow, seeing the same person they fell for all those years ago.

What makes their story even more special is what they built together: a life shared behind the lens as wildlife photographers. Two people who chose to see the world through the same eye, side by side, for years.

Capturing that longevity isn't easy. It's not one moment, but the accumulation of thousands of them. We end up creating three pieces to hold everything their story deserved, each one a different angle on the same enduring bond.

Thomas told me he wants to look at this piece and study it: the lines, the artistry, the years folded into it. They have thee sons, and one day, he wants one of them to carry this piece forward.

Being trusted with a legacy like that is not something I take lightly. Telling their story, and getting to showcase a love that's lasted this long and burned this bright, was an absolute honor.

Some birthdays deserve more than a dinner out.

They deserve to be remembered.

For her 40th birthday, Kristy chose to invest in herself, creating a gift that her future self will look back on for years to come. It wasn't about waiting for the "perfect" time or the "perfect" version of herself. It was about celebrating the woman she is today.

This was her fourth time in the studio, and every time she walks through our doors, she reminds us why we love what we do.

Kristy believes every woman deserves to feel beautiful, no matter what. She is passionate about raising awareness for cleft lip differences because she knows how easy it is for people with scars or facial differences to feel insecure. Through her own story, she hopes others can see that beauty is never defined by perfect.

I thought I had more time…

More time to feel her kick. More time to count hiccups. More time to wonder what she’d look like.

Instead, my water broke two weeks early, and in that moment I had a thought I never expected:

This is the biggest I’ll ever be.

No more watching my belly grow. No last week of pregnancy. No wondering if today would be the day. So many moms talk about those final days, and mine ended before I even realized I was living them.

I don’t even remember the last time she kicked inside me. Or the last time I felt her tiny hiccups from the inside instead of hearing them against my chest.

Those moments disappeared so quietly.

But I’m so thankful I have these photographs.

Not because they show how I looked, but because they remind me how I felt. Strong. Capable. Powerful. Before I knew how our story would unfold.

Even though my pregnancy ended more abruptly than I ever imagined, these portraits let me hold onto a chapter that passed faster than I was ready for.
