once upon a time it was 2020. life was uncertain, and i was learning every day how to be a mom. i was also learning who you are. i never could’ve imagined how wonderful you’d be or how much being your mom would change me. fast forward and it’s somehow already 2026, and you’ve become such a bright light in my life as well as everyone who meets you. i wanted to celebrate this milestone with a special photoshoot for my little guy. little sneak peek behind the scenes and preview of what we shot together 🥰

Not “say cheese.”

Just them.

A little bit of sweet, a little bit of chaos, and a whole lot of personality which is exactly how I want these sessions to feel. Mom told me afterward she cried looking through their gallery, and that right there is why I love these.

Congratulations to the 2025 Photo of the Year Grand Prize winner, the Miller Family!

This image captured so many hearts and truly represents everything I love about the families I get to photograph. Thank you to everyone who voted, shared, and participated. This community makes it so special every year.
