Say 'ello to Pumpkin Patch Pete. Created by the master him self, Jordan Patton. This kid is f*% killing it lately! Knocking out cast, molds and stellar paint jobs since the day I met him, along with starring on this season of Syfy's show. I'm always down to help out and photographing his work to give his characters life. Enjoy the portrait of Pete and stay tuned for a full environment shot coming soon! Keep up the great work brother!

Was surrounded by nature the other day on a walk in Youngstown,Ohio. Yet, Instead of photographing the wonders and joys of Mother Nature. I seem to have photographed my dear friend Sonya more instead.

Mixed up a new batch of collodion this morning. Looking to create 10-15 wet plates tomorrow 11:30AM-3:30PM over at TechShop Pittsburgh. Also, I'll be capturing a few behind-the-scene shots for my first blog post of the process.

Zak Jambor, a good 'ol chap I've known for what feels like a life time visited the Burgh the other day. This guy is bound to make you laugh with in the first minute of meeting him and have you pondering his quick whip and sarcasm even after the conversation is over and then saying to yourself, "A-HA, I GET IT NOW!" Clever at best and certainly a fellow who'd be there if you'd need 'em.

I was thrilled to spend half the day with him, show him the wet plate collodion process and being able to sit down together and dive into meaningful conversations about experiences, traveling the world, will power, determination, and the power of an idea and turning that into something tangible. It was rejuvenating to have a conversation not based on what used to be and dwelling on how things could have turned out.

Best of luck to you man over seas and safe travels!

There's an immense amount of joy that overwhelms me while I'm developing a wet plate after an exposure. It's a sigh of relief when I see information appear on the plate. As long as I see any detail or outline of an image, I'm a pretty happy photographer. .

Love, when it's gone:
The structure may look good from the outside, but inside, well, that's a different story.

"Truth is, Love will f@%& you up more than drugs ever will"

Venturing into abandon buildings with my dear friend Sonya. Almost fitting to the vibes we were feeling that day. Inside a building that once housed so many people and now it's nothing. Especially inside. Weird physical analogy for love that day.

My first 5x7 wet plate portrait(tintype) creation. I'm thrilled and HOLY S #!&, Justin George, this guy, I swear was made for this process. You could easily mistake the photos we shot yesterday for something that was actually from the late 1800s. Looking forward to creating more this Saturday, August 8th over at TechShop Pittsburgh. Stop by, visit the shop and maybe get your mug shot.

Updates coming soon to my site, along with a blog with behind-the-scene shots of my Tintype creations! !
