A shot of the ice storm we had a few weeks back. I love how the light came through the clouds to illuminate the ice formed on the branches. I used a 70-200mm lens to be able to capture finer details while flattening the image a bit at distance.

Looking back through some older shots from my time in Milwaukee. This one was from a weekend trip to Door County, 2017. Lake Michigan’s shoreline is especially stunning in the fall. Crystal clear turquoise blue water let’s you see what seems like 20ft down, making the layers of rock visible underneath the surface.
