Yesterday I took my sons to the ballgame for Paul Skenes bobblehead day, and altho we did lose, it's always fun to spend some time at the ballpark. We generally enjoy watching the game from the rotunda. Got some fun pictures of Skenes warming up, and heading out to the mound, Griffin stretching out, O'Hearn rounding third and heading for home on his cannonball shot, and of course the most beautiful ballpark in America! Raise the Jolly Roger and hoist the cone! Some shots from last night starting at the end of game firework shots to signify a win, and going all the way thru until the grand finale and the smoke afterwards. I've been a Pirates fan since the 70's and remember how exciting it was in 79 to win it all. I'm hoping this teams young guys can take us far this year! Lets go Buccos PNC Park Pittsburgh Pirates

Today is a Bucs and pucks day, so Dippy is wearing his Penguins scarf and cheering them on to victory in their playoff game against the Flyers tonight. Lets hope for a daily double today! Go Pens and Go Buccos! (Pictures from Thursday night)

Last night I really needed to go grocery shopping, but also was thinking their might be a nice sunset after the rain came. So needless to say, I put off grocery shopping and went down to roam around Oakland, and the colors of sunset didn't disappoint as they burst behind Phipps Botanical Gardens before fading into the night. Also don't worry about me not having groceries, I did go after sunset was over. Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
