Honored to photograph this fam’s 100 days celebration, and to learn a little bit about this cool tradition.

I distinctly remember a sense of bittersweet after that “fourth trimester” ended with my own kids. Some of the pressure and stress, newness of the newborn phase began to lift. Babe’s a bit more alert, more interactive. You start to figure out some semblance of routines. You see some first smiles, you both sleep a bit more regularly for longer stretches (hopefully lol). Such an intense but fleeting period of time. I love the idea of documenting it in this way.

Earlier this year, I took a trip to ATL to visit these fine ladies and photograph some headshot and branding photos for .styling. Liz focuses on empowering women to play big and express themselves through style that is authentic to them individually. Even as a person who has had mixed feelings about the word “fashion”, as it can feel a bit exclusory to me, I can definitely get behind Liz’s awesome spin on it: A fun celebration of fabulousness, big color, personal expression and body positivity. It has always been so inspiring to work with her!

Hey all! I'm holding school portrait style minis on Saturday Dec 7th at the Wilkins School in Regent Square. They're 5 minute photo sessions, and you'll get 5 + shots per gallery. You can buy prints, digitals, both or neither. I have a lot of experience with ND kiddos (including my own!) these are chill and sensory friendly. They suck way less than traditional school photos.
