Mamas. Raise a hand if you make the kids wait upstairs (or the equivalent) on Christmas morning while you make a coffee, splash some cold water on your face, maybe even get crazy and brush your teeth... ✋🏻

Chris and I do. No shame:

A.) we need it 🥱
B.) it prolongs the excitement and anticipation
C.) the girls go crazy, and we love that
D.) Christmas mornings should last as long as possible

I am in “out of office” mode starting today!

I will be checking in but mostly checking out.

There is so much to look forward to, so much be excited about, and so very much to be thankful for… personally, professionally, and more importantly from a faith perspective.

We made 234 pierogi, with the secret family recipe, and then we took some photos in the woods behind my parents new home.

When we get together, we pick on each other (lovingly), we keep traditions alive, we eat and drink and laugh—too much. We remember how lucky we are to have this.

It’s absolute chaos.
BEAUTIFUL CHAOS.
I throw that around a lot because I LIVE IT… with the people that I love.
