This post is looooooooong overdue. It’s been almost a month since our pop-up event. I should have shouted Thank You❤️ from the rooftops immediately.

I can’t even tell you how much fun I had. My kinda fun usually flies under the radar for most people. But on this day, my best people were with me to help the event happen and then I got to do what I love most in this world.

Photography? Nope.

I got to make a whole bunch of women laugh and smile.
The photo taking was just a means to an end.

This was not a day to expect a perfectly polished family portrait. This was a teeny little experience to make this Mother’s Day a little something to remember; and for me I know it’s one I will never forget.

I saw a creator say recently that she’s quitting reels. I let out a heavy sigh when I read that. I have many many reels in my drafts. I’m not a video editor. As a business owner, I spend enough time in admin; editing reels and learning how to clickbait you with hooks is the last thing on my mind. Don’t even get me started trending sounds that feel like torture.

Can’t I just get back to shooting???

How do we feel about a little of this and a little of that? Mix some photos with some video from a session? A bit of the behind the scenes and some of the finished product?

If you need me, I’ll be in my dinning room sitting with her, watching her, talking to her, taking her photo in the different lights during the day and of course by her, I mean the most darling bouquet. And if I can get emotional over her existing, I’ll be a disaster when she starts to fade.

And now I’m doubting myself, is that a snap or delphinium?

Just two women who love what we do, each other and have complicated relations with Mother’s Day; doing what we can to make the day a little lighter for some women who might understand that this holiday can be a little emotionally tricky.

I can understand if you have a little bit of apprehension because I’m most known as a bo***ir photographer. B but that means naked or clothed I know how to create a great picture with a woman who might be feeling her most insecure.

This isn’t a full portrait experience. It’s just a little gift from us to you. Bring your kids if your mom husbands. Bring your wife and bring your kids. Bring your mother bring your sisters. Bring your best friend. Just bring any woman that you would love to capture a memory with. The photos are free. Honest to God there’s no catch. I just want spend my day making some brighter moments for any woman I can.

I have had the honor of photographing so many women. Each woman has had her own motivator. For many of those women, they have been fighting a battle shame regarding their body or sexual health. My small supporting role in their healing journey has always started with a phone call or an email. You can be vulnerable with me. The more open and more willing to share your fears, the more I can support and tailor this experience to what you need. A bo***ir shoot is not one size fits all. You might be struggling to accept your current season but ill do whatever I can to help you reach your next step. I have lost track of how many clients have been referred by therapists this year. Or how many therapist I have welcomed. My “why” came back in a big way in 2022; and one of the pillars of my “why” has always been creating a safe place to share your story and taking away the shame. I know that can be a little hard to see through all the cleavage etc on the page, but rarely does getting naked with a woman not come with a side dish of heart to heart convos. I am here to help you change the story you tell yourself. That’s my super power.

There is too much to manage. I am sorry I don’t post more. I am *slightly* more active on IG. But even that is tricky.
