It’s with such a bittersweet heart that I announce the sunsetting of Jane and Dave Photography.

Recently, I have been looking back on past galleries and while this decision still pains my heart, I know it is the right one for me and my family. As I continue working full-time, finishing graduate school, and preparing for the birth of my son, I know I cannot continue stretching myself to the limits I have in the past without the time and effort required to serve my clients as they deserve.

In the last five years, I have had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented vendors and in the most beautiful venues in Pittsburgh. I shot more events, engagements, and weddings than I could have anticipated. And I had the most incredible clients who turned into amazing friends. Launching this company, I was so eager to capture the moments you would build your life upon, and by the grace of God what I received was that and so much more. I too will forever cherish these moments that I have been privy to.

I want to thank my wonderful clients who entrusted me with capturing your memories, and who let me be part the most intimate moments on your wedding day. Thank you to my family for constantly encouraging me and supporting me in this business. To my second shooter, thank you for all your hard work and for making wedding days all the more enjoyable. Thank you to my husband for the truly endless support. From buying my first Nikon D750 before I could afford it, to driving the battery charger I left plugged in the wall an hour away to my venue, to doing all the cooking and cleaning while I was shooting or power-editing.. I truly could not have accomplished anything in this business without you. Lastly, to Jane and Dave Vaughn, I wish you could have come to see me known as Jane and Dave Photography. Though I will no longer operate as a business in your honor, your love and faith will continue to influence me as I start my own family, and I hope I’ve done your namesake proud.

I got to shoot my first wedding in S I X months yesterday!! This has been a season of uncertainty for the wedding industry and for our wonderful clients. I am so thrilled I got to be part of Andrea + Stephen's wedding day. Though they faced many changes in their wedding planning, this day was meant to be as it was. And it was perfect!
