The Tawny Frogmouth, unlike owls, don't have curved talons on their feet. There feet are small, and "They're said to walk like a gout-ridden man" There call is a common night sound of the Australian bush.

The Victoria Crowned Pigeon is the largest pigeon in the world. They are easily recognized by the lacy crest of feathers on their head. Unfortunately, these pigeons are listed as near threatened. This is due to being hunted for their meat and feathers as well as to destruction to their habitat.

This little creature is a Burrowing Owl. Unlike other owls, they live underground in burrows dug themselves or taken over from prairie dogs, ground squirrels, or tortoise. Due to human alteration of there habitats, the decline of prairie dogs, and ground squirrels the Burrowing Owls number are declining sharply.
