They’re family.

They’re there for the good days, the hard days, the ordinary days, and all the little moments in between.

They greet us when we walk through the door. They follow us from room to room. They make us laugh when we need it most. They somehow know when we need a little extra love.

And before we know it, they’ve become such a big part of our lives that it’s hard to imagine our days without them.

That’s why photographs of our dogs matter so much to me.

Not just because they’re beautiful, but because they give us something to hold onto—their expressions, their quirks, the way they looked at us, and all the little things that made them them.

Our dogs are family.

And the memories we make with them are worth keeping. 🤎🐾

Meet My Dogs Winston 🐾

Everyone, meet Winston.

Winston is my 2-year-old English Lab. He’s about as chill as they come—not much phases this guy. He has the biggest heart, loves kids, and is basically royalty in our house. 😂

A few Winston facts: 🤎 Breed: Black English Lab 🎂 Age: 2 years old 🐾 Nicknames: Bubba and Bubba Boo (and if I’m being honest, he probably hears Bubba Boo more than Winston 😂)

A few of his favorite things: water, water, and more water. 😂 He LOVES to swim. He’s also a big fan of food, naps, playing tug, squeaky toys, and belly rubs.

I’m excited to share more of Winston because there’s a whole lot to love about this sweet, easygoing boy.

Your newborn session doesn’t have to be perfectly quiet and peaceful.

Your baby might need to eat. They might need a diaper change. Big brother might decide he’s completely over photos after five minutes. The dog will probably want to know why everyone is sitting on the bed without them.

And that’s okay.

We take our time, we go with whatever your baby and family need, and somewhere in the middle of all of that real life, we make some really beautiful photos.

That’s exactly why I love photographing newborns at home. 🤍

It’s that time again — fall sessions are officially open! 🍂

Every year, sessions like this remind me why I love doing this — watching a family just be together, kids being kids. Those are the moments I’m always trying to catch.

If you’re anything like me, you probably have approximately 4,000 photos of your dog on your phone. 😂

Sleeping on the couch. Sitting in the kitchen hoping you’ll drop something. That ridiculously cute thing they do that you’re sure you need a picture of every single time.

But there’s something different about having really beautiful photos of them. The way they look at you. Their goofy little personality. The face you see every single day and can’t imagine not seeing.

They’re such a big part of our lives for such a short amount of time. Beautiful photos of them are something you’ll never regret having. 🤎🐾

Today’s Pups: Maggie & Winnie 🐾

These two know how to enjoy life. 💜

Maggie, the Goldendoodle, and Winnie, the Golden Retriever, were the sweetest sisters—always ready for a little fun, a new adventure, or whatever came next. They seemed perfectly happy just being together and making the most of every minute.

I absolutely loved photographing these two and getting to see a little piece of the life they share together.

Dogs really do have a way of reminding us to enjoy the good stuff while it’s here. 💜🐾
